Home Remedies For Fibromyalgia Pain

Fibromyalgia is a rheumatic condition that is characterized by its muscular or musculoskeletal pain with stiffness and localized tenderness at specific points on the body. Symptoms include chronic muscle pain, fatigue, sleep problems and painful tender points or trigger points. Here are some simple home remedies for Fibromyalgia.

Massage therapy : As it is widely known that pains can be eased with massage, regardless of the cause, pain if Fibromyalgia can also be eased with massage. As the condition causes stiffness in muscle, fatigue in body and pain in joints, massage can relieve the stiffness, fatigue and pain from the joints.

Melatonin : Melatonin is a natural hormone that is found in our body and it's function is to promote sleep and sleep is a way to lessen some amount of fatigue, ache and other symptoms of Fibromyalgia. Melatonin is also available in pill and it can be taken often to fix sleep related issues, although there are no evidences that Fibromyalgia can be cured with just sleep.

Clothing : The type of clothing you choose to wear can either relieve or promote Fibromyalgia, as people suffering from it can feel the pain even from a light touch. It Is better for people suffering from Fibromyalgia to wear clothes with light fabric and slightly loose fitters.

Vitamin D : People suffering from Fibromyalgia are known to suffer from insufficient amount of magnesium and vitamin D in their body, so taking supplements of Vitamin D can improve Fibromyalgia symptoms, although there is no evidence that taking supplements of Vitamin D and magnesium  is a potent treatment but it can surely have some effects on muscle, joints and nerve functions.
