Potatoes that are green in colour should not be eaten because they contain poison known as glycoalkaloid. Just like potatoes, there are other vegetables too that are said to contain poison or toxins that are harmful for you.

ALMONDS : Almonds are believed to contain healthy fats, vitamin E, and fiber, but so many people tend not to know that Almonds contain small amount of cyanide in them, although not effective enough to harm us, but too much of its consumption will have some effects on our health. Therefore, Almonds are best if it is consumed moderately.

CHERRIES : The seeds of cherries should not be swallowed because they contain hydrogen cyanide, so eating the seed may be dangerous and you have to be mindful of the seeds when eating next time

CASSAVA : If cassava isn't soaked, dried or cooked properly before consumption, it will affect your health because they contain cyanide
MUSHROOM : Mushrooms are delicious, but not all mushrooms are edible. Some varieties of mushroom contain poison. A nutritionist should be consulted to be able to know the non poisonous mushroom.
TOMATOES : Tomatoes aren't actually poisonous, but their stem and leaves contain glycoalkaloid. It would be of great benefit if the stem and leaves are cut off from the tomatoes before eating them.
