In our daily life, we barely see successful people not being judged by individuals. It’s just a part of life that must be fulfilled. No matter how hard you work, no matter the struggle, people will always look for a fault in you to criticize. To me, I see those criticisms to be something that will always give you courage to keep doing the work you’re doing, (that’s if it is a good one).

Do not look at those set of people who can’t find something good doing with their time, instead, gossiping about people’s way of life and how their things are being done. It’s only when you’re doing the wrong thing that you get discouraged by critics.

Let’s use religion as an example, there are so many Churches today all over the world under the management of different pastors with different gifts of anointing. These pastors/prophets tends to be gifted in different specialisation and field, some are gifted with Deliverance and Healing, some with Prophecy/Vision and others with Preaching/Teaching of the Word and Prayer. If you’re a pastor, it’s either you’re in one field or the other, or you possess other gifts attached. Also, it’s either they’re genuine or not, but it’s not in your position to judge if someone is genuine or not.

Taking Prophet TB Joshua of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (Ikotun Egbe, Lagos State, Nigeria), Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufehin of Christ Mercy Land Deliverance Ministry (Warri, Delta State, Nigeria) and Apostle Johnson Suleman of Omega Fire Ministries (Auchi, Edo State, Nigeria) e.t.c., as clear examples, these men are reputed by their healings globally but they’ve also been criticized by many, judged by the kind of miracles they perform in their ministries and beyond even by their fellow pastors because of jealousy and hatred.

Now, what is your concern about what they are doing? How does it affect you? Because the funny thing is that no matter the criticism, they will keep going forward because they don’t listen to what you or other people say, they believe in their commission and they are succeeding.

Aside religion, in our different places of work, there’s criticism. People just can’t leave you to do what you’re doing maybe because you’re doing it more than them. You should never be discouraged when doing what is right because you’ll one day come out successful.

ADVICE

Don’t criticize people just because they are doing more than you, instead take it as a challenge that you can do better and if possible, consult them for advice and ask them the way forward why you’re yet to make it. You might not know what they’ve been through before getting to where they are today. If you continue criticising them or judging their works if it’s genuine or not, you’re only making them stronger by pausing your work speed and giving them more gap behind. Besides, it adds nothing to your body.

Live life by staying out of things that doesn’t concern you. Be straightforward with your life.
