A certain fungus known as Ug99 is capable of infecting entire wheat crops. It is common already in many African countries, and could spread to other parts of the world fairly easily. Hard to believe a mold could have that much impact.

    This fact shouldn't be that alarming or surprising. But to those that are paranoid of a zombie apocalypse, you should can be more afraid now, since you'll definitely be outnumbered. Thankfully, this shouldn't be too big of a concern, although it's still kind of creepy.
